The Options

Blazer Computing gives you three options to buy a domain name.

  1. Buy directly from Blazer Computing

The first option is to buy the name directly from Blazer Computing. The complete transaction/financial process and transfer is handled by us, which makes this option the simplest, quickest, and cheapest for all. If you wish to use this option, all you have to do is click on the Blazer logo above, send us the particulars of your request (eg. name, phone number, domain to purchase, offer price, etc). We will then contact you for further negotiation; if both parties are in agreement of the offer price, we will e-mail/fax you our Letter of Intent (LOI) as well as any additional payment info. Blazer Computing pays the transfer fee on the domain name - there is no extra charge to you.

  2. Buy Direct using Escrow.com

This option is similar to Option 1 except that our trusted partner escrow.com, the leading escrow service on the web, handles the financial side of the transaction (i.e., they act as the impartial 3rd party). Once an agreement to buy a name has been made between you and Blazer Computing, you will be contacted by Escrow.com (we have an account with escrow.com so you don't have to set-up your own account). You then send the funds to Escrow.com via any of the indicated methods. escrow.com holds the funds until you are satisfied that the domain has been transferred to you. If you wish to use this option, all you have to do is click on the escrow.com logo above, send us the particulars of your request (eg. name, phone number, domain to purchase, offer, etc). We will then e-mail/fax you further details. The buyer is responsible for the escrow fee charged by escrow.com. For their schedule of fees, see escrow.com fees.

  3. Buy via auction on Afternic.com

The final option is to buy the name via auction conducted by Afternic.com, the leading domain name auction site on the web. If you choose to purchase a name from us via Afternic, all you have to do is click on the Afternic logo above. You will then be taken to the auction site on Afternic.com where you can bid on the name in question. However, for faster service, you can return to the main page (ie. click on large animated Blazer logo) and simply click on the domain you are interested--this will take you to that domain's auction page. In order to place a bid, you must first register as an Afternic 'Exchange Member' (US$5 cost) after which you can make an offer on the name. If your offer reaches the reserve price, an agreement is made through Afternic, which then acts as the 3rd party in the payment and transfer of the domain name. The buyer is responsible for the service fees charged by Afternic.com. For their schedule of fees, see Afternic.com fees.
